Complimentary Bartercard Membership Terms & Conditions

To support the challenges many businesses are currently facing, especially the hospitality and tourism industries, Bartercard is offering 1,000 complimentary memberships to support SMEs through the pandemic recovery, valued at $989 each.  These memberships will come with a pre-agreed interest-free line of credit up to T$5,000 (trade dollars)*.  Successful applications will also go into the draw to win one of three T$10,000 prizes!

Terms of the Complimentary Membership

Complimentary Memberships are limited to 1,000 and are subject to approval.

The Joining Fee, usually $695 +GST, is complimentary.

Monthly membership is complimentary for the first six full months of membership from the date of the agreement; after that, it is $49 + GST per month.

There will be zero per cent Transaction Fees on the total value of all sales for the first six full months of membership from the date of the agreement.  After that, Transaction Fees of 6.5% Cash + GST and 1% Trade + GST on the total value of all sales are payable.

Transaction Fees of 6.5% Cash + GST and 1% Trade + GST on the total value of all purchases are payable.

Seven days after the agreement has been signed, it may be cancelled without penalty by the Member giving written notice to Bartercard.

Beyond seven days after the agreement has been signed, the Member may terminate the agreement at any time as per the Termination process detailed in the Rules of the Trading Program.  If the Members Bartercard Account has a nil balance and there are no outstanding charges, no additional costs will be incurred to close the account.

An interest-free line of credit up to T$5,000 (trade dollars) is applied to each successful application*.

Prize Draw

There will be three prize draws, each amounting to T$10,000 (trade dollars) payable into the Member’s Bartercard Trade Account to be spent as they wish.

The prize draw is payable in trade dollars and cannot be swapped for cash.

These prize draws will take place between 1 April and 31 October 2022.

Winners will be notified by telephone.
