Established 19 years ago and currently operated by Steve Lyon, Pacific Divers offers a comprehensive and enjoyable diving service catering for all levels. Dives include coral terrain dives, canyons, drop offs and drifts. Fish life is varied and includes Hawksbill and Green turtles, White Tip and Grey Reef sharks, Napoleon Wrasse, Giant Moray, Giant Clams and the myriad of reef fish and invertebrates you’d expect to see on a coral reef.

1 Dive Excursion T$129 Per Person

For the best value and experience, check out our 2 dive excursion. Explore the reef of Rarotonga with us on a dive excursion. Operating every day, we select sites based on weather and diver experience to give you the best diving Rarotonga has to offer. All dives have a
professionally certified dive leader present to guide you around the site. We operate 1 dive excursion each day, so there is no rush on our trips. We allow divers unlimited bottom time and have an ample surface interval to ensure a second dive is not limited by deco time. Single dives are usually conducted alongside a two dive excursion.
Operates every day, 830am Monday to Saturday and 1230pm on Sunday.
Included in the rate; all dive gear, transfers if required, 2 boat dives, light refreshments between and following dives.

2 Dive Excursion T$154 Per Person 

Explore the reef of Rarotonga with us on our 2 dive excursion. Operating every day, we select two sites based on weather and diver experience to give you the best diving Rarotonga has to offer. All dives have a professionally certified dive leader present to guide you around the site. We operate 1 two dive excursion each day, so there is no rush on our trips. We allow divers unlimited bottom time and have an ample surface interval to ensure our second dive is not limited by deco time.

Night Dive T$149 Per Person 

Experience Rarotonga’s reef at night with us on a night dive. Head out as the sun is setting and dive one of our popular sites on the North or East side of the island. All equipment provided. Dives are guided by a PADI professional dive leader and there is always a boatman on the boat during the dive.
Night dives in Rarotonga are easy, with short boat trips and clear water. Explore the reef under the light of your torch, see the different creatures that come out at night, and take notice of all the colours of the reef. A night dive is an experience not to be missed.

PADI Discover Scuba Lagoon Dive T$99 Per Person 

Try diving in Rarotonga’s shallow lagoon. Dive to depths of no more than 2m, within the Tikioki Marine Park. Lots of fish to see, a great way to experience scuba, in a safe, confined environment.
Discover the wonder of breathing on Scuba in the sheltered, safe lagoon of Rarotonga with this scuba introduction for absolute beginners. The Lagoon Dive programme is especially for people that want to try scuba for the very first time. See coral gardens, beautiful reef fish and glide through the water with ease.
You will be taught the diving basics, enough to be able to dive safely and confidently under the supervision of your instructor. All the time needed will be taken to ensure you’re comfortable with the equipment and the basic skills before moving on.
Once you are comfortable using scuba we head out for an underwater tour of the Tikioki or Aroa marine reserves. These lagoons are no deeper than a couple of metres and team with a variety of fish and corals that enjoy the protection the marine reserve offers. Throughout your diving experience your safety is managed by a qualified and professional dive instructor. Groups are small, a maximum of 8 students per instructor, so you always have someone watching out for you. At Pacific Divers we have had great success with the Lagoon Dive programme. Many people have had their first underwater experience with us and for many it was the experience of a lifetime. If you have ever dreamt about diving beneath the sea, your experience with us is likely to be very satisfying indeed.

Minimum age is 10. No certification required

PADI Discover Scuba Diving (Ocean dive included) T$169 Per Person 

Discover Scuba Diving in Rarotonga with this half day excursion. Lagoon training session and ocean dive included.Fantastic way to have your first diving experience on the clear waters of Rarotonga’s coral reef.
Discover the underwater world of Rarotonga with a half day dive excursion for absolute beginners. The Discover Scuba Diving programme is especially for people that want to try scuba for the very first time. See coral gardens, beautiful reef fish and glide through the water with ease.
Taking your first breaths underwater is a fascinating feeling. As you breathe and become relaxed you’ll be surprised just how easy it is! In the confined water you will learn how to use scuba. You will be taught the diving basics, enough to be able to dive safely and confidently under the supervision of your instructor. All the time needed will be taken to ensure you’re comfortable with the equipment and the basic skills before moving on.
Once you are comfortable using scuba we head out on our dive vessel. The boat trip is quite short, never more than 5 minutes. Rarotonga’s fringing reef provides a host of beautiful dive sites with coral terrain, colourful fish life and clear blue water all in easy reach of the harbour. As you begin your dive with your instructor you’ll be in awe of the environment surrounding you. Colourful tropical fish are everywhere, indifferent to your presence. You will weightlessly glide over the reef and become part of the underwater world.
Throughout your diving experience your safety is managed by a qualified and professional dive instructor. Groups are small, a maximum of 4 students per instructor, so you always have someone watching out for you.

Flying after diving
Remember to leave at least 12 hours for a single dive (including PADI Discover ScubaDiving) excursion, at least 18 hours for a PADI Open Water dive course
and 24 hours for a 2 dive excursion between your last dive ending and
flying to altitude. There is no refund for bookings booked within these
time constraints.
Medical statement
By booking a dive
excursion you confirm you do not have knowledge of any medical condition
that may preclude you from diving. All students must complete a medical
statement prior to diving.
Dive certification
All divers
must present evidence of their certification prior to diving. All dive certifications and commercial qualifications are accepted.
