New Zealand clubs and associations rely on cash from membership sales, sponsorships, and fundraising to survive. There are challenges that all clubs and associations face when implementing a strategy that allows an increase in revenue and a reduction in fixed expenses so more money can be invested into the club.
Bartercard is proud to partner with organisations across a wide variety of sporting, community, and business groups to help save them cash and sell unused assets.
We aim to raise awareness of those we are sponsoring through the Bartercard brand, offset cash expenses, and maximise cash flow. We can assist with offsetting costs by tapping into the Bartercard ecosystem. Organisations also use Bartercard to sell unsold advertising space, sponsorship packages and tickets. With the trade dollars they’ve generated, they’re saving cash by offsetting some of their expenses using Bartercard for costs associated with functions, raffle prizes, merchandise and the equipment needed to run successfully.
”Bartercard has a long-standing relationship with the Waikato Chiefs. Bartercard has allowed our organisation to approve capital expenditure projects based on a portion of that expense being on trade. We primarily use our trade dollars for accommodation when the team is touring, team manager expenses, functions and events, sponsorship events, operating expenses, and some capital expenditures.
