A Change to your Bartercard Logins – We apologise for any inconvenience!

Bartercard has upgraded its technology to give you an improved user experience and keep aligned with ever – moving security changes.

The following change has impacted the logins for MYBC, the Mobile Phone Application, Marketplace and Search.

What Does This Mean For You?
If you use one email address for multiple Bartercard usernames this will unfortunately affect you.

With the new increased security features each username must have a unique email address associated with it.

How Do You Proceed With These Changes?

Option 1
It just takes a few minutes to change an email in MYBC.

You will need to login with your first email, then update that email:

  • Visit mybc.bartercard.com and click Login
  • Login with your Bartercard Username
  • Click ‘My Profile’ then ‘Personal Details’ in the drop-down bar
  • Change the email in the ‘Email Address’ field
  • Click ‘save’

Then you can login with your second Username with the original email.

Option 2
Alternatively, you can use a Social Media Login for the second email.

To do so, register with Facebook, Google or Windows Live by following these steps:

  • Visit mybc.bartercard.com and click ‘Login/Register’ in the top right hand corner of the screen.
  • Click on either the Facebook, Google Plus or Windows Live icon
  • If you have an existing Facebook, Google or Windows Live account follow the prompts to login and create a new registration for your account.
  • If you don’t have an existing Facebook, Google or Windows Live account select the create account option to create a free account. Follow the prompts to create an account, and then to create a new registration for your account.

Option 3
Please contact your Account Manager or Bartercard Head Office on 0508 226 654 where we can assist you directly.

Additional Log In Changes That May Affect You
The following login changes are also effective from 9th October 2018.

If you are using a Bartercard login, you won’t be able to login with your card number anymore.
You will need to use a Bartercard Username to login into all of our platforms. If you don’t remember your Bartercard Username, please contact Bartercard Head Office on 0508 226 654. Alternatively, you will be able to login with your registered email address once the changes take effect.

Mobile Phone: Using Facebook to login will be temporarily unavailable.
You will need to use a Bartercard Username and password to login via mobile. If you have not registered for a Bartercard Username, please do so in MYBC. If you’ve forgotten your Bartercard Username, please contact Bartercard Head Office on 0508 226 654.

If you are logging in via Windows Live, you will need to agree to terms and conditions on your first login.
On first use of a Windows Live login, you will be taken to the MYBC registration page and will need to re-register. This is a once only and next time you login all will be back to normal.

For a leading user experience, please use Internet Explorer 11 or Chrome when accessing our platforms.
